by downloading, installing, or using oi, you agree to these terms. if you’re using oi for a company, you confirm you’re authorised to accept on its behalf. if you don’t agree, please don’t use oi.

oi is a local llm tool — a cli and a vs code extension — that lets you run ollama and llama.cpp models on your own hardware for coding tasks. the local core is free and open-source. oi pro adds config sync, curated model presets, multi-file refactors, a saved prompt library, and priority support for a one-time payment.

• oi pro is licensed, not sold. purchasing gives you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use oi pro on your own devices.
• you may install oi pro on multiple machines you personally own or control.
• you may not resell, share, sublicense, or distribute your license key.
• the local core is free and open-source — see the repository for its licence.

you agree not to:

• reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the license-key verification system
• use oi for anything illegal or to harm others
• attempt to access ogbuilds systems beyond normal use

oi pro is a one-time payment processed by stripe. you receive a signed license key by email. there is no subscription, no renewal, and no recurring charge. refunds are not offered except where required by law. if you don’t receive your key within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact us.

your code, prompts, and completions are processed locally on your machine and never sent to ogbuilds. you own your work entirely. nothing in these terms transfers any rights in your code or outputs to us.

oi relies on third parties — including stripe for payment processing and ollama / llama.cpp (which you install separately) to run models. your use of those services is governed by their own terms. we’re not responsible for third-party services we don’t control.

oi is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. ai suggestions may be inaccurate — always review before applying them. we don’t promise the software will be uninterrupted or error-free.

to the fullest extent permitted by law, ogbuilds won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us. nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

these terms are governed by the laws of england & wales, and the courts of england & wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

we may update these terms. we’ll update the date above, and continued use of oi after a change means you accept the updated terms.
